Queimada, grupo pop español creado en Pontevedra en 1966, tuvo varias formaciones. A principios de 1970 llegó a Madrid la definitiva: Luis Miguel Nodar (cantante y líder), Miguel López (guitarra rítmica), David Otero (guitarra solista) y Emilio Rivas (batería). Admiradores de Los Beatles, en marzo de 1971, producidos por Juan Pardo, grabaron el single que supuso su único gran éxito, Adonis, rítmica composición con formidables armonías vocales y letra en inglés inspirada en un pintoresco personaje pontevedrés que se convirtirtió en una de las canciones que más sonaron aquel verano. Luis fue el único de la banda que, a partir de 1974, continuó su carrera musical en solitario
