My prayer (Boulanger/Gómez Barrera/Kennedy), un antiguo hit de Glenn Miller y su Orquesta, así como también del grupo The Ink Spots en 1939 y un nº 1 para The Platters en 1956, es uno de los standards americanos más incesantemente registrados por multitud de importantes artistas. Entre tantas versiones destaca la sencillamente arrebatadora de Timi Yuro, que encabezó Let me call you sweetheart (1962), el tercer álbum de la extraordinaria cantante de Chicago, a quien hoy recordamos en su aniversario natal.
Love the song and this version. Years ago back in the sixties I recall having a 45 of a Timi Yuro song. I wasn't familiar with her at the time and had bought the record because it was really cheap--20 45's for $1. I wish I still had those records.
